Love and memories stay with us forever

I have accepted the inevitable.  It took my entire strength. 4 days without my mom. 4 days, so full of pain and feeling of  irreplaceable loss.

I have certainly been everywhere in my thoughts. I have visited every spot where we used to live, where we used to go, where we used to be happy.

My mom always adored all of my art; she adored the idea of creating beauty because she was a person who made admiration of beauty a big part of her life. She loved nature, and especially flowers and plants. She had seeded, planted and grown so many of them.

I had a chance to still show her the most recent pink flower collection and my mom was very delighted by it, but I have published it in all 3 previous posts.

I am posting the mom’s most favorite paintings this time. Some of them she kept very close to her.

This sad time will pass, too.

Please, no more sorry messages and condolences. I know it feels the right thing to do, but when I will look at this post and at the post in lifeschool blog, I will be in the future already. I am very thankful for numerous support messages on my Facebook profile. I appreciate them a lot.

However, I would really appreciate comments about purpose and meaning of life, power of creativity and importance of art if you have ever been thinking about these matters.

I want to take with me to the future only the good memories and memories about  the pleasant things we once had.

I will be traveling to Europe for quite many hours and then there will be the really important last things to do, and I hope I can check out the likes sometime later.

Flowers are nature’s mysterious beauty that is so easy to reach, to enjoy and to give as a gift.

Where do flowers come from?

From happiness.

How did they get their fragrance?

From love.

How can they be so beautiful?

God allowed them to use any color and any shape to remind us

Beauty is timeless but lasts for a short while.

I hope all moms received plenty of flowers today. They are a thing of extraordinary beauty, and they can say everything without words, just like art.

I also hope you are showing your love to your mom while there is still time enough, and you are not too late with your “I love you mom!”

It is so easy to love a small child; it takes more than superficial attraction to love genuinely very old people. To understand them and to appreciate, and to be grateful they are with us. Moms of people who belong to my generation are getting close to 90.

Thankfully, my mom is still doing lots of good things, sewing and gardening, not to mention small daily stuff like dishwashing, or cleaning. She loves flowers, so I sent her some, although, the Ocean is between us, that cannot stop us from exchanging some words on the phone or over Skype. The distance has the ability to make things clearer and more valuable. Simple words can get a new meaning.

Well, I was not very productive recently, but I have made some watercolors for cards, something unsophisticated, but sincere.

Happy Mother’s Day to every mom, grandmother and great grandmother! I hope your kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren are blessings to you.

For those who have got a gift certificate for acrylic painting classes, it’s great to put in the box small canvas, 5 paint tubes in basic colors (black, white, red, blue and yellow) and 1 or 2 brushes. Anybody can add whatever they wish, but these 5 colors are enough to start out. People are really excited receiving such gifts. How do I know? They send me the first email and all of them are saying: I cannot wait to get started, I’m feeling so happy.
