Flowers are nature’s mysterious beauty that is so easy to reach, to enjoy and to give as a gift.
Where do flowers come from?
From happiness.
How did they get their fragrance?
From love.
How can they be so beautiful?
God allowed them to use any color and any shape to remind us
Beauty is timeless but lasts for a short while.
I hope all moms received plenty of flowers today. They are a thing of extraordinary beauty, and they can say everything without words, just like art.
I also hope you are showing your love to your mom while there is still time enough, and you are not too late with your “I love you mom!”
It is so easy to love a small child; it takes more than superficial attraction to love genuinely very old people. To understand them and to appreciate, and to be grateful they are with us. Moms of people who belong to my generation are getting close to 90.
Thankfully, my mom is still doing lots of good things, sewing and gardening, not to mention small daily stuff like dishwashing, or cleaning. She loves flowers, so I sent her some, although, the Ocean is between us, that cannot stop us from exchanging some words on the phone or over Skype. The distance has the ability to make things clearer and more valuable. Simple words can get a new meaning.
Well, I was not very productive recently, but I have made some watercolors for cards, something unsophisticated, but sincere.
Happy Mother’s Day to every mom, grandmother and great grandmother! I hope your kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren are blessings to you.
Please accept these lovely flowers as a small thank you for everything you are to my every single day!
Beauty never ends, flowers will live as long as we do and they will keep inspiring us. Always.
Thanks Natalie! Well, unpretentious as opposed to roses or lilies … Happy Mother’s Day!
I hope you enjoyed Mother’s Day, Inese. Thanks for sharing the lovely flowers!
Well, to some extent, sure, it is simply a great day to celebrate. However, all my direct family is far away on the other side of the Earth. I very rarely have parties or something like that, the last one I was attending was in 2013, which was my daughter’s wedding. My husband had bought a beautiful new orchid for my indoor garden, and that was great, he is always so caring. I hope it is a great time for you, too!
Hi! I didn’t realise Mother’s Day was not the same day in all countries. It is in March in the UK, but it is a good thing to be reminded on other days. My own Mother is no longer with us, but I still think of her a lot, mainly in the little things she did and find myself doing. In those things she still lives on. Thank for for the lovely card!
I thought, too, Mother’s Day was celebrated everywhere on the second Sunday of May, interesting, I didn’t know it was earlier in the UK. Mother is not only the closest blood relative to us, mother is somebody who we owe the entire life to. I feel happy for all people whose mom has helped them in all possible ways growing and developing themselves and I feel genuinely sorry for everybody who hasn’t had the opportunity to learn living through their mom and with her advise.
Happy Mother’s Day Inese. Thanks for the flowers, and may God bless you with health, and happiness, always.
Thanks! I would definitely need some health at the moment. I hope it is a blessed time for you, as well.
Lovely colors, they are very calming. My mom would be 103 if she were living. I think about her everyday.
Thanks! I know, I also talk to my mom in my thoughts very often because she is far away. I suppose, as one gets older, all the life experience which mom is sharing with us becomes very important. I also think we sometimes start to appreciate mom’s wisdom just later in life.
So beautiful.. I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day… Love and Blessings.. Sue
Thanks Sue! The same to you!
Pansies are always a blessing and sign of spring. Thanks and I hope your day was a delight.
Thanks Brenda! It was fine. I hope you enjoyed this day since you have all your family right there.
Yes, indeed. In true New England fashion, we cooked hot dogs on the grill and cooled off in Walden Pond. 🙂
That sounds nice!
🙂 My children were such loving cuties all day. It was precious.
I would think so! I’m always happy about families which appreciate the real values in our life. Your fairy-tales prove that people are lacking the daily magic, that’s why so many of us love them.
Thank you!
You are always very welcome Brenda!
Lovely Inese

Thanks Leyla! We did this with kids.
